This year in Multimedia we had many assignments, most of them required using your creativity and imagination to bring your thoughts or ideas to life. For instance creating a Claymation movie and building your characters from nothing but clay and building your backgrounds and scenes, to taking pictures of things that capture everything about winter or spring. This class has been very useful to me and has taught me to look at things from different perspectives or angles, sometimes that even meant laying on the wet road to take a picture with a unique and better looking angle.
The most useful thing that I have learned in this class is creating and expanding a website which was one of our assignments and it's cool to see how each person in class has a different looking website and design from one another. I think this was the most useful thing we did because websites will continue to grow and be used to create business and multi-billion dollar organizations. Knowing how to do this better prepares us for the future if we want to be successful and create our own businesses. The websites we made at the beginning of the year were where we posted all of our finished assignments and projects for the whole school to see and for other classmates to see each other's work.
The most interesting assignment that we did this year was the Claymation movie with a partner. This assignment was the most interesting to me because it was simply just fun to create and then watch how it turned out. What made it so fun was being able to work with a partner and in my case it was my closest friend Tyson Schertenleib. The whole process of making the movie was fun from building the characters made of clay to actually shooting it and trying to figure out ways to get the baseball to float without having to edit. The Claymation movie was definitely the most interesting and fun assignment all year.
